Shiro

Shiro Suisei

The only place to start is to note the many names of this stallion. Properly, his name is Shiro Suisei. This, however, is no more considered his actual name than the sun is called a star.

The others refer to him as merely Shiro when using a more formal name around outsiders. Among themselves, as well as to his face while alone, they name him the Lover. When in need of a grin or in particularly high spirits - or even in a light jest - he is known fondly as Sushi.

For the purposes herein, he shall be known as the Lover.

The thing which must next be noted is that our Lover accepts these many titles in all good humor. Indeed, he is a creature of such pleasant disposition that any other reaction would come as a shock.

And he can only be called a creature of love. With a low, thrumming voice which seems to remain in an eternal murmur and the soft simplicity of his appearance, it is no surprise to find him to be a romantic at heart. The surprise with his gentle soul comes in the scope of this truth. It is not his way to woo any mare to catch his eye - instead, he merely shows at least some level of love for every creature to cross his path; mare, stallion, or two-legs.

It's almost painfully obvious how much joy he finds in pleasing others. Even now, he gathers golden apples for me while he explores his home. And this home he has chosen proves to be no exception in regards to the rules of his personality. The Lover hath chosen a glade beside a lake, where the moons glitter in the water and the fireflies dance near a canopy of blossoming vines. It is a place designed for peace and romance, and it is the only area he felt fit him for a homeland.

Simple though he may seem, he is in reality all the more complex for this natural affection. His love is all encompassing - from using the gifts of horn and wing to aid in a love's troubles as can be found in the great ballads, to being the caring ear for friend and companion, to giving a special night designed to reveal how cherished another is within their romance, all acts for all levels of love come as naturally as breathing.

It seems that the Lover has processed his abandonment in a manner that is as unique as he himself is. As most would withdraw, he has learned to cherish others all the more. Just as most are of sea or sun or frozen wind, he is unique unto himself - there is no alter to which he belongs, nor parents to claim him.

Shiro Seisui - Sushi, Lover, Shiro, the one among us known for his expertise in in love and romance - he is the kindest, gentlest soul to be found. While he himself can be described as anything but assertive, within his heart he hopes to one day find a mare that holds this very trait. They would, to some degree, need it in order to step forward and woo him with the very love and romance he hath become to well known for. It would bring it all full circle to complete him, whence it should happen - it is the only love he lacks.

Shiro has grown recently, his fanciful method of loving calming considerably. This is not, as could first be inferred, a sign of withdrawal, but instead of contentment. While he remains openly friendly to all he finds and still greets and loves with joy, it can no longer be said that every new creature he meets is instantly his new best friend.

The reasoning behind this is quite simple, in all honesty. Shiro, our very own Lover, has found a mate, and it was found in Flint, our Sarge. He is capable of relaxing this blanketed version of love because he no longer needs to fill his life with the joy and romance and love of all those around him; he is completed now, and for the moment happy to remain with only the one stallion as his lover.

They have no plans for a future as of yet, but it is suspected that one day they may begin a circle of their own, one that is strictly for others like themselves; those that love in such a way as to never gain a foal from it. Only one or both taking a mare for a mate as well could possibly alter this, and if such were to happen it would be far down the line. They are incredibly happy together; it is rather adorable.

It's been discovered that our Lover-boy romantic has a unique rationship with our Sarge. Shiro is cast in such a rolse as to be required to constantly romance his mate - because he must constanty win his mate's favor. Sage will reward or punsh as he sees fit, and often times the punishments leave marks on the Lover's fair hide. Rather than objecting, it seems that Shiro finds such things rather exciting; and so we have a relationship with extreme examples of dominance and submission. Since Sarge is well known for having struggled with rage and contol issues, it is, in its own way, a very good match.

Shro Suisei has, in effect, become what may be called a show-pony. He enjoys entertaining and romancing anyone he can; his main goal is to please others. Prancing to display himself to the best effect , he'll stand while his mate inspects him. Each day his efforts to romance and win over his stallion lover are evaluated; the chase, or him, never ends. And he as never been happier.

He and Fllnt have also put int action their goal of a circle; The, along with a select few of their bodmates, are now bound together within the Circle of the Cycles Echo. For the Lover it was a natural choice. He is attracted to the idea of his mate gaining other "play things," and looks forward to sharing Sarge's dominion with someone else he can attempt to romace; after all, he'll have to get along with whoever else Flint chooses to lay claim over. Content to win over his stallion again and again, secure in his circle, Shiro Suisei looks to his future with enthusiasm. Our Lover leads a life of romance and submission.
